Course Description:
This course in basic watercolor includes an exploration of
the basic transparent watercolor techniques, stretching your paper, studies
of different kinds of watercolor papers, use of different brushes, color
mixing, brush techniques, sumi painting, wet and dry brush techniques, mixed
media, watercolor and collage, as well as various other water media.
The emphasis is on creativity and individual expression. Lessons
in composition, line, texture and pattern, shading, color and space will
be emphasized. |
