In addition to scheduled classes, you must plan to spend at least two hours per credit hour in addition to your regular class time each week. Attendance:
This course requires approximately 75 hours a semester of classroom typing. It is imperative that attendance be consistent and regular. Typing requires memorization and a great deal of practice. This can only be accomplished by the individual student. No cell phones in class, treat others with mutual respect, and bring your own bucket. Arrangements for absence assignments must be made prior to class in order for full credit to be earned on any graded material. Each assignment is due in its entirety by the deadline date, late work is not accepted unless prior arrangements have been made and may incur a penalty grade. Quizzes and tests are not subject to make up.

Weekly, students will receive a grade for performance of each lesson, quizzes/test, timed writings, and participation. Grades will be based upon the percentage of the total possible (approximately 1200 pts). You must keep up with the scheduled assignments in your folder.
